About Us

We’re a Central Florida family of four. Dennis stays home with the kids. Chrisanne works in hospitality. Our son is 9 and builds entire worlds in Minecraft. Our daughter is 7 and will craft anything out of anything.

We unschool, which means our kids learn through living, not through a curriculum. Some days that looks like baking and fractions. Other days it looks like Minecraft and nothing else. We’re figuring it out as we go, and we’re okay with that.

What this site is about

This is our family’s real story. Travel, unschooling, crafts, meal planning, and the occasional experiment with AI tools that actually help. Not advice from experts. Not a lifestyle brand. Just a family sharing what works, what doesn’t, and what we’re still figuring out.

Travel and Adventures: We’ve visited 32 states plus DC, with 6 more coming this April. We know Disney inside and out (40+ years of family visits across 4 parks, 2 water parks, and 27 resorts). We also do Universal, SeaWorld, Kennedy Space Center, national parks, and pretty much every museum, botanical garden, and nature trail between Pensacola and Key West.

Unschooling: What our days actually look like, the philosophy behind it, the doubts we have, and the wins that keep us going. No preaching, just our experience.

Crafts and Creative Projects: Mostly Savannah’s department. Messy, imperfect, and proud of it.

AI for Families: How we use AI for meal planning, tutoring, scheduling, and creative play. Always from the family perspective, never from the tech perspective.

What this site is NOT

We don’t do perfectly staged photos. We don’t have a “10 steps to a perfect morning routine.” Our mornings are cereal and Minecraft, and we’re not pretending otherwise.

We don’t run ads, affiliate links, or sponsored content. If we mention something, it’s because our family actually uses it.
